Nicole Keler

Is a passionate special educator with five years classroom experience and two plus years in administration in Washington, DC Public Charter Schools.  In addition to Nicole’s experience, her Master’s in Education and Certificate in Teaching English in a Second Language provides her with a wealth of knowledge that she utilizes to provide top tier instruction to diverse students. Nicole’s favorite part of the special education process is working closely with caregivers to empower them with tools to be apart of their child’s academic and social growth. Nicole loves working with students and some ways she has done that through her work is a Girls Running club and Post-Secondary Transition Events.

Co-Founder

Angie Zara

Angie Zara is a trauma informed leader in the field of Social and Emotional learning. She is currently serving in her 8th year in education in a full inclusion school in Washington, DC. Angie holds her Master’s in Education and a certification in Applied Educational Neuroscience. In addition to working in education full time, Angie shares her knowledge widely, presenting at conferences around the country. Through her experience as a classroom teacher and educational leader, Angie works to coach others on best practices and strategies to promote regulation and relational safety in the school setting. Angie also uses her skills  to advocate for culturally responsive and inclusive student and family engagement to achieve a community of belonging and mutual respect for all.
